Don Awarded Case Manager Of The Year

Don was awarded Case Manager of Year at the annual Rehabilitation First Awards. This is an Insurance Industry wide event initiated by Post Magazine and sponsored by a number of organisations, including The Injury Care Clinics Ltd and AXA Insurance.

Judges included Amanda Stevens, Association of Personal Injury Lawyers “Rehabilitation Champion” - charged with developing APIL’s rehabilitation policy and promotion of rehab as a central part of the claims process, in consultation with other key stakeholder groups.

Don Young as Owner and Managing Director of Brain Injury Services Ltd provides Clinical Case Management to individuals who have suffered catastrophic injury as a result of accident or clinical negligence. Established since 1999 Don has set out to offer a quality and responsive service with the brain injured person always being the prime focus. Services extend to clients across the South East of England in Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, London and Kent enabled through a network of Associate Case Managers.

In addition to the case management service Don also provides Immediate Needs Assessments in line with the Rehabilitation Code and acts as a ‘Care Expert’ in nursing, care and brain injury cases’.

He maintains a clinical caseload in order to give credence to this part of the service.
